Firstly, all purchasers Should Fully Realize that there is no such thing as a 100% health gaurantee for a living being such as a puppy. We strive very hard to raise healthy and happy puppies. As in life nothing is a sure thing and sometimes somethings unforeseen and beyond my control can crop up at any time in the puppies life. Cherry Eye is one example as both the beagle and pugs have tendencies toward this problem and will occassionally be found in Puggles 1st and 2nd generations.
As a Breeder I gaurantee that your puppy is was at the time of
our professional vet examination and vaccination at the vet's office where they have recieved all the necessary initial shots and wormings. Any known defects will be made known to the buyer prior to purchase.
1. Purchaser will have 3 business days after receiving puppy to have the puppy examined by a vet of the purchasers choice, at the purchasers expense. A copy of this vet visit must be forwarded to Debbie O'Keeffe either by e-mail, fax or overnight U.S. post and must be recieved within 10 Business days of purchase of the puppy. If Breeder does not recieve a vet report within 10 business days after purchase of puppy then Breeder will assume puppy is in good health and purchaser will be responsible for future well being of puppy.
2. If puppy were to be found unhealthy with a life threatening hereditary defect or congenital disease by the purchasers vet the purchaser must notify the seller within 72 hrs. of diagnosis and allow seller to have the option to have the puppy checked by a veternarian of sellers choice.
3.With respect to the purchase warranty the breeder will replace the puppy with another puppy of equal value or refund the purchase price of the puppy ONLY if the puppy is returned tothe seller(to be discussed nad agreed upon by all parties involved prior to making a decision) with the following conditions: It will be at the purchasers expense and their responsibility for the costs associated with the return of the puppy to the breeders residence unless the breeder agrees to help with this cost. The puppy must be returned to Debbie O'Keeffeby the purchaser within 72hrs of purchasers vet visit. The warranty will be VOID if the puppy is euthanized without the consent of the seller. ALL PAPERWORK SUPPLIED BY Debbie O'Keeffe AT TIME OF PURCHASE PERTAINING TO THE PUPPY MUST ACCOMPANYTHE RETURNED PUPPY.
4.All paperwork from purchasers vet as to the puppy's supposed life-threatening condition must be supplied to the breeder within 24 hours of examination and at the time when pup is returned to the breeder so the breeders vet can view the purchasers vets findings and supposed life-threatening condition. IF AND ONLY IF the breeders vet agrees with the purchasers vet report, Then and ONLY Then with this Breeders vets agreement that the puppy has a defect will the purchase price be refunded(must be discussed and agreed upon by all parties involved). Breeder has the right to have the pup re-examined by the breeders vet before replacement puppy or refund of purchase price as agreed upon with breeder.
5.This warranty does not cover any adverse reactions to future vaccinations, medications, complications form surgeries, treatable conditions such as but not limited to fleas, worms, ticks, earmites, diarrhea, coccidiosis, giardia,etc., further more selleris not responsible for ANY veternarian fees incurred by the puppy. No gaurantee is made on health problems or defects that cannot be detected at the time of vet check. Some of these problems can be caused simply by stress felt by the puppy simply by moving to their new home, changes in routine and change in water. Puppies are like children in that they are susceptible to infections and commo illnesses.
6.All vet bills are the responsibility of the purchaser. Please call or e-mail breeder immediately if you have any problems or concerns. Once again the stress felt by the puppy from the introduction to their new forever home as well as change in food or water supply can cause diarrhea.
7.This document, including warranty shall be construed in accordance with the laws and statutes of the state of IOWA. The venue for any litigation concerning this warranty shall be Iowa district court in and for Guthrie County for Debbie O'keeffe.
8.This puppy is sold by seller to the buyer for a pet and seller provides no warranty as to the suitability of the puppy for other purposes such as breeding or showing.
9.If the buyer should want to sell or give away the puppy after purchasing then this warranty is Null and Void immediately. Seller Requests to notified prior to any action for the option to have the puppy returned to the breeder for re-homing.
10.The puppy will not be replaced or any money refunded because of bad behavior such as urinating or defecating in the house, The breeder feels it is up to the purchaser to properly housetrain their puppy once it has been purchased. A puppy is never 100% housetrained at 8 weeks old. also the puppy will not be refunded or replaced if the puppy cries when confined as thsi breeder feels the puppy should learn to be crated or confined for its own well being and safetywhile purchaser is away or otherwise occupied and unable to supervise the puppy.
11.The Purchasers need to realize that puppies will cry when they 1st leave their first home, mother and littermates. Also they may cry when left alone and in the middle of the night. This is all part of puppy parenthood and shoukd not be entered into lightly or on a spur of a moment. With Love, Time and much patience the purchaser will have a wonderful puppy that grows into a lifelong companion in the future. It is entirely up to the purchaser to see that all the puppies needs are fullfilled in full every day
of the puppies life and that they help make the puppy into the wonderful dog it is capable of becoming. I try to raise healthy, happy and well socialized puppies to send to great and caring permanent homes with loving and caring people. I take placing my puppies into these homes very seriously and Irequest that purchasers can respect and are honest about living up to their obligations of the above obligations.
IF ALL THE ABOVE CONDITIONS are not met, then this puppy warranty will become NULL an VOID. All sales are final except as provided in the warranty described herein.
BREEDER WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE For any vet bills of the purchaser unless previously arranged and agreed between both breeder and purchaser. This must be in writing with each party receiving and signing a copy before any vet treatments are started.
