     Kimber

    Picture
Hi Deb and Jim, We wanted to say hi and let you know how things are going. More than ever, Gary and I are absolutely in love with Kimber. Things have been working out well here so far. Gary and I have learned to put anything we don't want chewed out of reach, including paper towels, napkins, dish rags, books, shoes, computer cords, and even eye glasses! LOL! If there's anything she's taught us so far, it's to always be on our toes! She makes messes sometimes, but we clean up and move on. The cats are pretty much ambivalent about her, that is until she starts trying to play with them, then they get a little hissy. All things considered though, I'd say they're getting along pretty well. We take Kimber for a walk or hike just about every day. We have a wildlife preserve not too far from us that she likes (lots of fun smells and she can run off her leash). We also take her to the dog park now and again. The one that is closest to us is clear on the other side of town, but we try to get out there now and again and she is getting more and more used to other dogs. Gary's parents have watched Kimber for us a couple days when we couldn't have her with us. She seems to be getting along with their dogs too. But whatever she's doing, she absolutely loves being outside, for hikes and walks, but even just for hanging out in the backyard too. She still loves to play with her blue bunny and some other toys we've gotten her. But what most holds her attention are slippers (the novelty kind, we just so happened to have a pair of wolf and panther slippers) and plain old wood sticks! She's a hoot and we have such a good time with her.  We try to take her with us whenever we can. We've learned she doesn't much like the back seat and tends to get a little car sick. But  she seems to do okay on the boat. We've taken her out a few times and she didn't seem to mind it. She also didn't seem to mind the life jacket we made her wear. It's probably ridiculous and overkill, but we figure you never can be too careful. Besides, she just a little mite. Anyway, she loves getting out to go explore the shores though. And recently we had the opportunity to find out she a camp-lovin' kinda dog too. Around Memorial Day weekend we went to Dillon Beach in the Bodega Bay area off the coast. She LOVED it! She loved everything about it, the smells, the sand, the freedom of running off her leash, meeting new people and new dogs. She really had a blast, and so did we. A couple weeks later, we got to take her to the forest. We went to the Moaning Caverns and the Big Trees National Forest for Gary's Aunt's 60th birthday. Kimber didn't get to go on the zipline but had a good time hanging out with the rest of the family while we went. And she had a blast checking things out and exploring while we picnicked by the river in the forest. We try to keep her as busy as she keeps us!  Kimber's all current with her shots. We had a bit of worry on her last round when she had a bad reaction. We got them done midmorning and by the later afternoon we noticed she had spots everywhere! We took her in and they gave her some cortizone right away and gave us a prescription. She started to get better even before we left the vet. Next time we do shots, we're going to space them out instead of all at once and see if that doesn't help, or at least help us figure out what she's allergic to. Otherwise everything else is a-ok. Next up on the agenda is getting her fixed which we'll be doing later this month. Once she's healed, we're looking forward to getting out there and having many more adventures. In the meantime, I attached some pics I thought you might like. And I want to say thanks again for such a wonderful dog. We couldn't have picked one better suited to us if we had tried.   :) Best Wishes, Synnea, Gary, and Kimber

Hi  Deb,  Bandits check up went very well.  Here is my first photo album.  The other puggle is Briggsz and is becoming            fast friends with Bandit.    Bandit is very happy and adjusting to his new digs!

Hi Deb!   Just wanted to give you an update on how Roxanne is doing.  So far she is a great puppy!  Very smart and everyone absolutely adores her.  She is pretty much potty trained.  Some accidents here and there, but mainly when we're busy and don't mistakenly think she just wants to play instead of go outside.  She is starting to do much better when we go for walks, and knows sit and stay.  It's a little hard cause when she goes outside sometimes she wants to play and we want to teach her when it's potty time she goes and then comes back in.  She's slowly learning, but does like to make Ryan chase her at times to come in.  I told him not to chase her cause she probably thinks he's playing.  So we'll see how she does after a while.   She does very well in her kennel.  She has never once cried at night when in it.  Even the first night she cried maybe a couple minutes then slept.  We got a cuddle baby for her that warms in the microwave and some calming spray so maybe that helped a little.  Now when she hears the microwave at night she runs straight to her kennel and waits for her baby.  It's so cute.   She got a cherry eye last week so she had to have minor surgery and she's healing just fine from that.  They were going to wait until she got spade but it started bleeding a little so we opted to just get it done now. Well, that's about it.  We love our pup.  Not sure if luci our cat agrees, but they'll get used to eachother.  Maybe once Roxanne is out of her hyper puppy stage Luci will be better.  Right now Roxi like to jump on the cat to play and Luci doesn't like that.   Well, we'll keep you updated.  I've attached some pics for you, hope you enjoy them. Jenn

    Spike

    Picture
    Hello Debb!

I haven’t contacted you in a long time!  I just wanted to give you an update on Spike, who is from Dolly’s litter from December 4th, 2008!  He is doing great, he is weighing in at 43lbs!  He’s a big boy, but not so much fat, just VERY stocky!  He almost has the shape of a small boxer!  He has quite the personality as well!  I was just wondering, do your Puggle’s shed quite a bit.  Spike’s shedding is non-stop and you can’t even let him rub up against you without getting full of hair.  I knew they would shed, but didn’t realize that it would be this bad?  Other than that we love our Spike and just wanted to let you know how he was doing!

    Hey Debbie,

Here's the pictures I promised you from Memorial Day of Charlie. She's
    getting sooo big!

    Thanks,

    Shannon

    Hugo

    Picture
    Hello Deb,

FYI, HUGO is having a blast! He and Obi are getting along great. Today
he helped with the moving, and got to play with his new neighbor
"Brutus" the Great Dane x Boxer mix. I'll send more photos and videos
    once I get settled.
    Thanx again!
    -Brandon

    Izzy

    Picture
    Hi Deb,

I thought I would send you an email after Izzy's first Christmas. She is just about 7 months old now, and she is doing wonderful. At her last vet visit in mid-December, she weighed 23 lbs, but she is very fit. She is very tall compared to other puggles we've seen, and she's very muscular! We got married a couple months ago and she adjusted to the craziness with all the people around just fine! She loved it! It takes her a while to settle down when kids are chasing her all over the place, but she doesn't complain about having some playmates. She is definitely an active pup and we have our hands full, but house-training has gone very well. She's got it pretty well handled now aside from the very occasional accident. She LOVES to play in the snow, so she has loved the winter thus far in Omaha. I've never known a dog that will seek out the deepest area of snow in the yard just to prance through. I'll attach a few pictures we've taken recently. Thank you again for giving us such a happy, healthy puppy! Bryan and Leah

    Kobe

    Picture
Hi,  We have had Kobe for over a year now. We love her and she's been a great addition to our family. Kobe is very energetic and loves to play. Here are a couple of pictures of her. Thanks. Holli and Bennie

    Roman

    Hey there Debbie,
Just wanted to give you an update on Roman.  We are soo thrilled
to have gotten Roman.  We is so well tempered.  He loves to play
fetch, go on walks, playing with our neighbors children and chewing on
socks or delicates we occasionally don't get all the way in the
hamper.  You did an excelent job potty training him.  He didnt have an
accident in the house for the first three days until once we didnt
realize his signals till it was too late.  He is very well tempered.
He loves playing with other dogs and usually knows when enough is
enough.  He gets along great with any dog who gets along with him, but
won't let other dogs bully him around.  We just got him fixed last
week and is all up to date with his shots (no allergic reactions to
them like another family had issues with). We are just a bit concerned
right now about his back leg.  I am at the vet right now getting x-
rays on it.  About a week ago he was over at Jenn's dad's house while
we were out and went to jump onto the couch.  He sister said mid jump
he let out a yelp and cried for a while.  We took him to the vet and
they said it was just a sprained knee, about a week later he was still
limping on it, sometimes completely lifting it while walking.  This
makes the vet think he may have a hairline fracture or worst case
scenario, an acl rip or tear.  So the doctor is looking at the x-rays
right now and I am awaiting the results.  I am optimistic that he is
just being a woose and nothing is wrong but only time will tell.  Yet,
we are completely thrilled with him.  Since we have gotten him it
seems like everyone is getting puggles.  One of Jenn's associates got
a little masked boy, Jenn said the people a couple doors down had a
puppy puggle the other day, and a couple other people Jenn knows
either are getting or have gotten puggles. She has referee atleast 2
people to check out your site to see when the new pupps are going to
be available.  And we also keep checking to see pics of his younger
and older brothers and sisters. I'll try to get you some of the
pictures we have taken these last couple months once I get to my
computer.  But thank you soo much for Roman!

    Sincerely,
    Adam and Jenn

    Kai

    Picture
Hi Deb,   Well Kai is almost a year old (approx. 17lbs) and I thought I'd send you a quick update on his life up to this point.  He is living with my husband Jeff and I in Boston and is the absolute joy and light in our lives.  He is the most well behaved, good spirited dog I've ever known and it seems like everywhere we go people just want to hold him and cuddle him.  He has so much great energy and gets along with the other dogs so well...its really incredible to watch.  I tell everyone who asks (and that's a ton of people) that we got him from Deb at pugglestocuddle.com.  I couldn't be happier with our little baby Kai and I think we love him more and more everyday.  He's only getting sweeter with time.  Thank you so much Deb for giving us the best gift we could have ever asked for!  Here's a couple pictures so you can show Jazz and Chance what a beautiful baby they made!!   All of our Love,   Jeff, Jess, and Kai

    Coco

    Picture
Deb,   I am interested in buying another puggle this year!!! I bought Coco last year, she was born July 25th. She is almost a year old now and I am loving her!!! We taught her many many tricks like high five, wave bye-bye, dead dog, whisper and my favorite patty cake!!!   Anyways, long story short, I have been checking your website multiple times daily to see if the puppies have been born yet! I think that Coco needs to have a little sister to play with. When we bought Coco she was from Sadie's litter and we love how she looks. We have seen how puggles can have a lot of different looks and we are looking for one that will look more like her. We think she is more beagle than pug. So we are looking for one that has more dominant beagle feature. I am actually looking for a female puppy that is more dominant in white but doesn't have to be all white. Colors are good! Coco is predominantly black so I don't want you to think that I want just a white one. Do you think that the liter that you are going to be having very soon will have any of those characteristics based on who the parents are?   I have attached pictures of what Coco looks like now so you can see what I am talking about as well as how cute she is :-)

    Phoebe

    Picture
Thanks for the email. Here is a recent picture of Phoebe now that she is older. We are having so much fun with her! She is totally adorable! She's a great snuggler and is totally spoiled. She's also stubborn, but it's a good thing she is so cute!
Although I don't think she is worthy of an Animal Planet show, she cracks us up with her "mountain goat" like tendencies as she sits on the sofa or on the windowsill. She weighs about 13 pounds now that she is 5 months old. This picture is her at the beach, but she does not like the ocean! Hopefully, she'll learn to like water.
    Take care,Holly

Hi Deb, Just wanted to let you know that Puppy No. 1 (still not officially named) did a GREAT job on the plane when we flew her back to San Diego with us - slept on the plane and played with everyone around the terminal!  She is a DOLL!  She is 100% on the puppy pads and is really enjoying the attention she is getting.  She has taken to her crate very well after a brutal first time... though we went to dinner so we didn't have to listen to her.  (thankfully because it would have broken my heart).  She has since gone in it on her own and loves the horse you gave to us.  Each night, she snuggles up to it and the clock we gave that has a loud tick, like a heartbeat.  We absolutely LOVE her and can't begin to tell you how lucky we feel that a last minute trip to Grandma's turned into a lifetime with her.   There are two photos attached - the 1542 is MacKenzie doing her first vest treatment with the puppy... she fell asleep despite all the shaking.    More to come throughout the weeks, thanks again!   Tiffany

    Zoey

    Picture
Little miss Zoey is doing great. She is so sweet, playful and smart! Yesterday she went up all of the stairs up to our apartment (she had been doing half and would get tuckered out so we would pick her up and carry her the rest). Housebreaking is going much better than we expected and she loves and is nice to everyone she meets! Whether we take her just outside, or to the pet store or have friends over, EVERYONE that sees her thinks she is so adorable. They all want to know what breed she is, what her name is and, of course, the want to pet her!
We had bought a lobster toy that we thought would be too big for her right away so we kept giving her the smaller toys but she loves that lobster even though it is as big as she is! I attached a couple of pictures but will send some as she grows too!
Again, thanks so much, we love our baby Zoey! Love, Andrew, Sarah and Zoey
